Cutting Edge Reviews, Daily Life-Style

To my great surprise, Alecia Simmonds has published a review of Daniel Bergner's book What Do Women Really Want? in Daily Life, that source of all feminine online wisdom, on 14 August 2013.

I'm not surprised to find that she's reviewed it, but I am surprised at by how much she's missed the boat, given that she's working exclusively in the electronic media.

This book - which caused a huge storm, and should have been top of Simmonds' reading list if she takes herself seriously as a thoroughly modern commentator on all things female, sexual, intellectual, etc - was published on 4 June 2013.

Bettina Arndt previewed it on 1 June 2013 in the Financial Review.

It was reviewed in the Daily Mail (UIK) on 2 July 2013.

Extracts were published in the Guardian (UK) on 5 July 2013.

Two international reviews from the Guardian and the Atlantic were reproduced in the Tasmanian Times on 9 July 2013.

It was reviewed again in the Guardian (UK) on 11 July 2013.

It was reviewed by Ruby Hamad on Daily Life on 25 July 2013.

Oh well. Maybe she was sick that week.
